Transportation
We have a broad range of experience in highway, rail and transit infrastructure projects plus an extensive knowledge in "what works" to combat gridlock. This has led us to take a renewed interest in lending our skills to political visionaries who want to improve traffic flow and reduce gridlock that slows the movement of people and goods, jams our major arteries and wastes billions of dollars in lost productivity annually. In recent years, traffic congestion has risen to the top of the list with respect barriers that restrict mobility, lessen our quality of life and negatively impact economic growth.
In the past, engineers and city planners followed a balanced approach to local, regional and inter-regional transportation systems and at that time, things moved well. But over the last four to five decades, a misguided reliance has been placed on transit as the sole solution to our mobility woes. The result of this approach is evident now - it has only served to increase gridlock, reduce the time we have to spend with our families and strangle the economy. Traffic congestion is chronic and it's impacting our way of life. It's time to take a stand to get our cities moving again. As part of our initiative, we are interested in working with private developers to explore project opportunities across Canada.
